Snowpack is a 16-people European cybersecurity startup, spin-off from CEA, French largest applied research center, created in 2021. Snowpack secured more than €2 million in funding in 2022.
Snowpack is developing its VIPN (Virtual & Invisible Private Network) technology, which avoids any trust to the Internet infrastructure in the broadest sense (i.e. hardware, software, encryption layers, Snowpack relays, etc.).
Thanks to its technology, Snowpack has become in less than two years THE company specializing in Internet invisibility. Users, equipment and data become invisible, preventing the exploitation of vulnerabilities in the underlying infrastructure, and avoiding traces on the Internet.
The company develops and sells three solutions based on its VIPN technology:
- Invisible Access for untraceable Internet browsing without trusted third parties
- Invisible Service to protect access to its services on the Internet
- Invisible Infra to mask its attack surface and deploy a layer of invisibility between its various components (intranet, cloud, teleworkers)

Unlike competing products, and thanks to the properties of our VIPN, users do not risk any targeted attack by compromising the service provider, and DNS queries cannot be manipulated.
The solution is based on 4 complementaries pillars:
- Encrypting and anonymizing data flows: become invisible to attackers
- Real-time monitoring of data flow and alerting of suspicious traffic
- Filtering of malicious sites
- Block tracking and ads

Request a demoThe aim of this project is to create, within 3 years, a unique Cyber Intelligence & Communities platform for companies and public administrations, giving them access to validated and shared intelligence services of cyber interest.
Snowpack’s role here is 3-fold, 1. upstream, by facilitating threat intelligence for analysts and crawlers, 2. downstream, by finally making it possible to share data of cyber interest (typically attacks suffered) without reputational risk, notably at sector level, and 3. finally for invisible access to the platform via our Invisible services.
